The Plan

We have always been particularly fond of plans here at Give My Brand Love; Yearly Plans, Weekly Plans, Action Plans, Plans of Attack…whatever your preference some sort of plan always keeps you on track.

One of our favourite plans is definitely the Marketing Plan – a little biased for sure! All businesses should have a strategic marketing plan. We hear a lot of people with small businesses say they don’t need a marketing plan – “Marketing Plans are only for big businesses”. NOT TRUE.

The best thing about developing a strategic marketing plan is that it is a “working plan” able to be developed, adapted and adjusted as required. With a great strategic marketing plan your business will have an action plan that can be implemented, with the peace of mind that it is aligned with your business goals.

The biggest issue faced by smaller business (well all businesses really) is lack of resources; a strategic marketing plan helps you to align your efforts with your business goals and help ensure you are using your resources appropriately.

Don’t worry, we are not talking you into spending lots of money developing a huge, colourful, over-the-top bound document that sits in your office and gathers dust and is never referenced. We are talking about clear steps or actions that will be taken to achieve your goals.

There are so many reasons for having a Marketing Plan, not all of them are to do with budgets and checklists:

  • Stay focused

  • Quick clear decision making

  • Turn ideas into reality

  • Take control

  • Reach your goals

Don’t have a strategic marketing plan? Have a marketing plan you developed but not sure it is right? Get in touch with Give My Brand Love and talk to us about your business , we would love to Give Your Brand some Love and make sure you have a PLAN.
